【地藏音乐剧】是继【玄奘西游音乐剧】后，另一部杨伟汉的全新作品。
以“地藏王菩萨本愿经”，地藏菩萨的精神为创作蓝本，应对现代社会人心的种种现象而开创的音乐剧。人因为偏离孝道，藐视因果才导致社会动荡、人心恐慌。
【地藏音乐剧】对人性善恶的解剖、是非对错的定位，死亡轮回的无奈，贪嗔痴慢疑毒害，深入探讨。从音声光影中去深思人生的意义。
“地狱不空、誓不成佛”
不是空掉地狱，而是拔除众生的贪嗔痴！

DiZang – The Musical a work by Yang Wei Han, following the success of his highly-acclaimed musical, ‘XuanZang: Journey to the West’.
The musical is based on the “Sutra of the Great Vows of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva” and the Bodhisattva’s spirit as it relates to the perplexities of modern life.
As Filial Piety and the Law of Cause-Effect are scorned and shunned, mankind faces increasing social unrests and panic.
The musical examines good and evil, right and wrong, the exasperating cycle of life and death, the toxic afflictions of greed, hatred and ignorance; and through an in-depth presentation of sights and sounds, it appraises the meaning of life.
Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva’s renowned great vow:
“Until Hell is emptied, a Buddha I shall not be.”
It’s not just the evacuation of Hell, but the elimination of defilement in sentient beings!
In truth, Heaven or Hell is but a notion away.
